Highlands

 
 
 This is my favorite Whiteheart album of all time. With Highlands, Whiteheart continued with almost the same music style as in Tales of Wonder, except its better(if thats possible). The album begins with a medium rock song "You can see the world". However, just by listening to the first seconds of the lead track, you can just tell that this album is going to be different. The third track, "Heaven of my heart", is my favorite song of all time. There simply isn't anything like it on the face of the planet. The mixing of guitars, keyboards, bass, and drums was done with absolute genius. Later on the album, the song "The Cry" starts out with an awesome ballad type intro that fits great with the over all theme of Highlands. The last song, "The flame passes on", is an excellent finish to the album. The only song I didn't really care for was "Let my people go", but the other 9 songs more then make up for it. If you have never heard Whiteheart before, or if you have, but didn't like them, then try this album. Highlands is an absolute masterpiece! All in all, I give this album a 9.5 out of 10.
